Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 October 2026
This policy covers the eSports AI Coach website and service and the Garden Variety Gamer YouTube channel tools, both run by Garden Variety Gamer ("we", "us"). Contact: support@moonlitronin.com.
Summary
- We collect only what is needed to make and send your match report: your email, what you tell us about the match, and the screenshots you upload.
- Screenshots are used only for your report and deleted 30 days after the report is sent (from our web server as soon as we have copied them, and within 14 days at the latest).
- We do not sell your data, do not use advertising trackers, and set no cookies.
What we collect
| Data | Why | Kept for |
|---|---|---|
| Email address (and gamer name if you give one) | To send your report, confirm your address, and (only if you opt in) send coaching tips and offers | Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it |
| Match details you enter (game, platform, team, result, notes) | To make your report | As long as your report history exists, so we can track your habits |
| Screenshots or photos of your stats screen | To read the numbers for your report | Deleted 30 days after your report is sent |
| Your consent text and time, and a one-way hash of your IP address | To prove what you agreed to and to stop abuse (rate limits) | As long as the related record |
| Anonymous page analytics (page, referring site, campaign tags, a random browser id, device type) | To see which pages work; no cookies, no raw IP | Up to 12 months |
How your report is made
Your screenshots are read with the help of AI software that extracts the numbers and drafts the grade and fixes. A person checks every report before it is sent. AI services we use process the image only to produce your report and are not allowed to use it to train their models where that option exists. We never claim a number your screenshot does not show.
Who processes your data
- Web hosting: Hostinger (stores the website and, briefly, your uploads).
- Email: a self-hosted mailing system we run ourselves.
- Payments: WHOP (checkout email, product and payment ID come back to us; refunds and disputes too). We never see your card details.
- AI processing: an AI model provider, used only to read your screenshot and draft your report.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete everything we hold about you, or to stop emailing you, at any time: email support@moonlitronin.com or use the unsubscribe link in any email. We answer within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK, California or Canada) you may have further rights, including complaining to your data protection authority.
Children
The service is for people aged 13 and over. If you are under 18, you need a parent's or guardian's permission. If we learn that someone under 13 has sent us data, we delete it.
YouTube API Services
Garden Variety Gamer's own publishing tool ("Garden Variety Gamer Publisher") uses YouTube API Services to upload and schedule videos on our own YouTube channel and to read our own channel's analytics (scopes youtube.upload, youtube, youtube.force-ssl, yt-analytics.readonly). It does not access, collect or store data about viewers, subscribers or any other Google account. Its sign-in token is stored only on our own computer. Videos we publish are watched on YouTube under the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, after which the stored token is deleted. Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Videos embedded on this site play from YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode) only after you click them.
Changes
If we change this policy we update the date above; significant changes are announced by email to people who receive reports.
